Day 1 |
Arrive at SrinagarAfter arrival at the Srinagar Airport, board the designated vehicle and proceed towards the hotel. The summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, Srinagar has scenic lakes, soaring mountains and vibrant markets. It is flocked by tourists from across the globe all round the year. Upon arriving at the hotel, complete the check-in formalities and relax for a while. Later, visit the famous Mughal Gardens, which is one of the top tourist attractions of Srinagar. Built during the period of Mughals, these gardens have a charm of the bygone era. These beautifully-created gardens comprise three famous gardens, namely Nishat Garden, Shalimar Garden and Chasme Shahi Garden. With fountains, colourful flowerbeds and lush greenery, these gardens located along side the beautiful Dal Lake. Later in the evening, go on a shikara ride (Charges applicable) on Dal Lake to Nehru Park. Shikaras are beautifully decorated boats that are quite popular in Kashmir. Enjoy peace and tranquillity, along with the scintillating views of the soaring mountains in the backdrop. After a fun-filled sightseeing trip of Srinagar, return to the hotel and get a good night's sleep. |
Day 2 |
Drive from Srinagar to Pahalgam | Return to Srinagar (94 km/approx. 03 hours)Drive to Pahalgam – popularly known as the ‘Valley of Shepherds’. It is a small town in the Anantnag District and is situated on the banks of the Lidder River. On the way, you can visit the Pampore Saffron fields, where saffron is cultivated. It is one of the largest saffron cultivated areas in the world. In addition, you can also explore the Avantipur Ruins, which is ruins of two ancient temples that are devoted Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. Another place of interest en route is the Sangam Cricket Bat Factory, where you see thousands of bat being created from log woods. You may also visit the Anantnag Sulphur Springs, the water of which is famous for its curative power. It is believed that it can cure even leprosy. At Pahalgam, you can behold the picturesque views of the surroundings, explore the Lidder Valley and take a leisure walk in the pine forest situated along the river. After a day long tour and sightseeing of Pahalgam, return to Srinagar. Enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel. |
Day 3 |
Drive from Srinagar to Gulmarg | Return to Srinagar (57 km/approx. 1.5 hours)Head for a sightseeing tour of the ‘Meadow of Flowers’, Gulmarg. Situated at an altitude of 2730 m above sea level, you can enjoy beautiful vistas here. Surrounded by lush green meadows of flowers with a backdrop of the snow-capped mountains, this place is heaven in the true sense.Moreover, Gulmarg is a famous ski resort and has the world's highest 18-hole golf course, called Gulmarg Golf Club. At a short distance from this golf course lies a 110-year old St. Mary's Church, which you can visit. This church was built during the British rule. In addition to these, you can go on a pony ride or Gondola (ropeway) ride to Khilanmarg (Charges applicable) and enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings. After a day-long excursion of this beautiful hill town, return to Srinagar. Stay overnight at the hotel. |

Depart from SrinagarCheck-out from the hotel and proceed towards the airport to board your return flight. |
