1

Arrive in Cochin | Drive from Cochin to Munnar (135 km/approx. 5 hours

Upon arrival at the Cochin Airport, a sdms representative will guide you to a designated vehicle. Board the vehicle and thereafter, drive to Munnar. Home to rolling hills and verdant greenery, this place is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations in the country. This picturesque destination is widely acclaimed for its tea plantations that are spread across acres of land, making it a paradise for nature lovers. After reaching Munnar, check-in at the hotel and take some rest. You can either spend the rest of the day in exploring nearby areas or simply relaxing at the hotel room. Stay overnight at the hotel.

Sightseeing in Munnar

After enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, set out on a sightseeing tour of Munnar. Pay a visit to the Nyayamakad Waterfalls, which cascades from a height of about 1600 m. Owing to its lush green surroundings, this fall serves as an ideal picnic spot for tourists. Thereafter, head to another prominent attraction – Anamudi Peak, which is the highest pinnacle of South India. With dense forests and mountainous surroundings, this peak is quite popular among adventure seekers.

Later, visit the famous Eravikulam National Park, which houses some  endangered species, such as Nilgiri marten, Nilgiri tahr and ruddy mongoose. Tourists can spot many other wild animals like small-clawed otter and dusky-striped squirrel at the park. This park also inhabited by avian species like Nilgiri verditer flycatcher and Kerala laughingthrush.

After a fun-filled tour, return to the hotel and enjoy a comfortable overnight stay.

Drive from Munnar to Alleppey (150 km/approx. 5 hours)

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel, embark on a journey to Alleppey. This town is bestowed with beaches, lagoons and backwaters that will surely enrich your travel experience. You can behold nature at its best while visiting this picture-perfect destination. Some of the famous tourist attractions of this place are the Alappuzha Beach, Kuttanad, Edathua Church and Lake Vembanad. This place is popular across the country for its beautiful houseboats that cruise on its shimmering backwaters.

Upon arrival in Alleppey, check-in at the designated hotel and take some rest. This overnight stay is the highlight of the entire trip.

Depart from Cochin

Soon after breakfast, drive to Cochin. Upon reaching the airport, board your return flight for your return journey.
