Arrival in Rome - Evening at Leisure

Upon the arrival at Rome, meet our experience Tour Manager and drive from the airport to the restaurant to the hotel. The capital of Italy – Rome – is also called the Eternal City because of the historical monuments and art masterpieces found here. Each and every alley of the city is dotted with stunning sites and museums, and it carries different historical layers in itself. A visit to this city gives an opportunity to explore the significant sites from the times of the Roman Empire and Renaissance period to the modern architectural wonders. Unique Italian traditions, culture and lifestyle can be witnesses, besides enjoying the beauty of this place. On arrival, proceed for dinner to an Indian restaurant, after which you will check into your hotel for an overnight stay.


Tour of Vatican City - Tour of Rome - Visit the Leaning tower of Pisa

After enjoying a Continental breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the hotel and proceed towards the Vatican City for a guided tour.


On reaching the destination, you can explore museums to get a view of historical background along with witnessing amazing artefacts. The tour moves forward to St. Peter's Basilica – the largest cathedral of the world. It is perfect example of the Renaissance architecture and is capable of amazing visitors by its size. Regarded as the holiest church, it is also the seat of the Roman Catholic Church. Afterwards, orientation tour of Rome is planned that focuses on Leaning Tower of Pisa, Trevi Fountain and Roman forums.


The first spot is the Sistine Chapel in the Apostolic Palace. Apart from being the official residence of the Pope, it is also the centre of papal and religious activities. Interiors of the Chapel include The Last Judgement by Michelangelo on the intricately carved walls.


Then head towards the Piazza Venezia – a square situated at the foot of Capitoline Hill. National Monument to Victor Emmanuel II is the next stop that was built to honour the first king after the unification of the country. You can witness reminiscence of over 150 years old buildings while passing through Roman and Imperial Forums. The group will be then taken to the popular Trevi Fountain. It is said that throwing a coin with specific gesture brings tourists back to this city. However, these coins were later used to subsidise a Roman market. Later proceed to Pisa. Located in the city of Pisa, the Leaning Tower is one of the oldest structures, also known as the free-standing bell tower. It stands right behind the cathedral at Piazza del Duomo and is the Leaning Tower because of the tilting that was noticed during the initial stages of construction. This architectural piece is around 55 metres high and was built in the 12th century.

After visiting these beautiful places you will be taken to an Indian restaurant for dinner. Stay overnight at the hotel in Pisa.


Pisa to Florence to Padova. Guided Walking City Tour of Florence - Visit to Ferrari Museum

After enjoying delicious Continental breakfast, you will be taken to the city of Florence. It is the capital city of Tuscany and considered as the birthplace of the Renaissance. Being home to beautiful Renaissance architectural pieces and monuments, it is a part of the World Heritage Site list by UNESCO. The city is perfect amalgamation of traditional Italian culture and modernity as it is listed among the fashion capitals of the world. After reaching the city, a guided walking tour to Duomo, Baptistery and Piazza della Signoria will be given. The Basilica di Santa Maria del Fiore commonly called as Duomo is the most popular church of Florence. History of this church dates back to the 12th century, when its construction begun. It took almost one and a half decade to complete this building representing Gothic style.


The Baptistery of St. John across the Piazza del Duomo is often referred as the minor basilica. It is one of the oldest buildings of the Florentine Romanesque style city that was built in the 11th century and has references of the Florentine Romanesque style. Afterwards, head towards Piazza Signoria Square – an L-shaped square right in front the Palazzo Vecchio. The 14th century buildings of this place are perfect background for clicking pictures.

Afterwards, visit the Piazza Michelangelo on the banks of the River Arno. The stunning panoramic view of Florence city that has already been on a number of postcards in the last few decades can be captured. It was designed by Giuseppe Poggi in the 19th century and features copies of popular works of Michelangelo. After this, proceeds towards Maranello, where you will be taken to the famous Ferrari Museum near the factory where this car is manufactured. Millions of people visit this museum every year. As the name suggests, it is dedicated to the Ferrari sports car, but there is a lot more than just cars. Technological innovations and transition from racing cars to road cars have also been exhibited in this museum. It is liked by people who admire Prancing Horse as well as exclusivity and technology.

After this tour, you will be taken to a hotel in Padova. Enjoy your dinner at an Indian restaurant and then stay overnight at the hotel.


Padova to Venice to Innsbruck - Tour of Venice

After having the breakfast, proceed to the city on water – Venice. It is a group of over 100 islands connected by bridges and is listed as a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. It is the capital city of the Veneto region and has received its name from Veneti people – who were among the first few inhabitants of the region. The orientation tour of this place will take you to a number of popular historical sites. After reaching the city, a drive to Mussolini’s Bridge of Liberty has been scheduled followed by water taxi ride to Giudecca canal to go to the St. Mark’s Square. It is a central square near the St Mark's Basilica, commonly called as the Piazzio.


Ducal Palace, a part of UNESCO's World Heritage Site, is one of the vital monuments of Venice. Built in around mid-15th century, the building showing Renaissance architecture served as the government house till 20th century. You will get to see the infamous prison, Bridge of Sighs and the Clock Tower. Two bronze figures on the Clock Tower are among main attractions of the city, symbolic of the passing time. You will also get to see St. Mark's Basilica – the prime Roman catholic church of the city – known for its architecture. It was built in the 11th century with precious metals like gold, a fine example of prosperity of Venetians in that time period. Afterwards, you will be taken to the Murano Glass factory, where the thorough process of making these beautiful glasses will be demonstrated by master craftsman.

After seeing all these attractions, head towards Innsbruck. On arrival in Innsbruck, proceed for dinner to an Indian restaurant. Later check into your hotel. Stay overnight at the hotel in Innsbruck.


Innsbruck to Vaduz - Vaduz to Lucerne/Zurich. Visit the famous Swarovski Crystal Museum - Orientation of Innsbruck - Enjoy train ride at Vaduz

After having breakfast, you will be taken to Wattens. This Austrian city is situated in the Inn Valley and is considered as the winter sports centre. It has hosted Olympics and Paralympics several times. Here, you will be taken to the Swarovski Crystal Museum (museum closed for renovation till 01 May 2015).


Then, go for an orientation tour of Innsbruck and visit the Goldenes Dachl, a landmark located in the Old Town. It is regarded as the symbol of the city, built with gilded copper in the 15th century. Constructed by Archduke Friedrich IV as the residency of Tyrolean sovereigns, its architecture and Gothic balcony are the main attractions. Afterwards, you can see the statue of King Leopold V near the fountain, which was built in the 17th century. This is followed by a visit to Triumph forte, which is also called as the Innsbruck Arch of Celebration.


After that, you will get to see the Heiblinghaus that represents Gothic and Baroque architecture. This unique building was constructed by Anton Gigl in the 18th century. After the sightseeing trip, proceed towards the capital of Liechtenstein – Vaduz. The Castle of Vaduz is popular all over the world for its lavish interiors and giant sizes. You can enjoy a toy train ride after beholding the scenic beauty of this place. Apart from this you can also get your passport stamped at an insignificant amount.


Later, head to Lucerne/Zurich/Engelberg and on arrival visit an Indian restaurant for dinner followed by an overnight stay at the hotel.


Excursion to Jungfraujoch. Suggested optional tour to Jungfraujoch including Indian lunch and orientation tour of Interlaken

After savouring a delicious breakfast, you can spend the rest of the day at the hotel and relax or go to for an excursion to Jungfraujoch, which is optional. Lying at a height of around 3400 metres, this place features snow-caped mountain peaks. It is also referred as the Top of Europe and is a perfect spot for photography lovers. This place can be easily reached by covering a distance of around 7 kilometres by train. Afterwards, you can enjoy lunch at Bollywood restaurant.


Then, proceed towards Interlaken, which is a town as well as a municipality of the Swiss canton of Bern. Located alongside the Aare River, between Lake Brienz and Thun, this place offers a beautiful sight of the Swiss Alps.


Later, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant, after which you can proceed to your hotel in Zurich/Lucerne/Engelberg area.

Enjoy a Continental breakfast at the hotel, after which go for a full day excursion to Mount Titlis. It is located between cantons of Berne and Obwalden at a height of around 3200 metres. The view of the Alps is breathtaking from the top of this snow-covered mountain peak. You get to see lush green meadows and Titlis Glacier during the journey. The cable cars carry flags of over 200 countries, and the number 73 bears an Indian flag. After covering the initial journey, you will get the chance to ride Titlis Rotair – a rotating cable car. If you love snow, then you can enjoy snow sports at the mountain top. Ice Grotto – an ice cave – can also be visited that features unique designs made from snow.


If the weather is favourable, a ride on the Ice-Flyer on the summit station can be enjoyed. After that you will get to see the Titlis suspension bridge, which is highest in the Europe at a height of around 3000 metres above sea level. This all is scheduled before an Indian lunch at the summit.


Thereafter, proceed towards Lucerne city for an orientation tour. It is one of the most-visited cities of the world, and its main attraction is the Lion Monument. The sculpture of the wounded lion was referred to as one of the most moving piece of stone work in the world by Mark Twain. It was initially designed by Bertel Thorvaldsen to honour Swiss guards, who were massacred during the French Revolution. After that you can walk on the oldest bridge of the world, the Kappelbruke, which was built in the 14th century over Reuss River.


Later, head to an Indian restaurant for dinner, after which you move to the hotel in Zurich/Lucerne/Engelberg area for overnight stay.

After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Paris, which is visited by over millions of people every year. It is listed among the fashion capitals of the world. Situated on the bank of the Seine River, the city is heart of the country. It is a perfect place for tourists to enjoy their vacation as it houses several historical sites, natural spots, man-made wonders, a plethora of markets and hundreds of restaurants, serving delicious food.


On arrival in Paris, check-in at the hotel and rest for a while. Afterwards, you can enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant and get ready to take an illumination tour of this romantic city. The city looks stunning with its glittering landmarks in the night and you can go for an illumination tour. You can either go for the Lido Show – Le Lido – or can go back to the hotel and rest there for the whole night.


in Paris. Guided Tour of Paris - Tour of Louvre Museum and Eiffel Tower - Cruise on River Seine

After breakfast, proceed on a sightseeing tour of this wonderful city. Start the trip, with a visit to the Arc de Triomphe, which stands at the centre of Place Charles de Gaulle and at the end of Champs-Elysees. This approximately 50-metre high monument honours soldiers who lost their lives fighting for the country during the French Revolution. Names of all the French generals and victories have been inscribed on outer and inner surface to the monument.


Then, proceed towards Concorde Square, also called the Place de la Concorde, is located at the eastern end of Champs-Elysees. Statues and fountains add to the beauty and serenity of this place.


Thereafter, visit the Invalids, located in the 7th arrondissement of the city. This building complex features the military museum of the army and has several items related to the history of the city as well as the country. It was constructed on the orders of Louis XIV in the 11th century. Afterwards, visit the Opera Garnier – a popular opera house, featuring seats for over 1900 people. It took almost half a decade to complete the construction of this building for Paris Opera, and was called as Opera de Paris in the ancient times. The building also houses a library-museum that features some of the oldest work in the field of literature. After this, proceed to another masterpiece, the Louvre Museum. This historic museum is a landmark of the city apart from being one of the largest museums in the world. It is situated on the bank of the Seine River and features more than 3500 unique items from pre-historic period till present time. The building is spread over an area over 60000 square metres and is built on the site of a fortress, which was under the reign of Philip II, and its remnants can still be seen.


After taking a tour of the museum, head towards the Eiffel Tower – one of the most sophistically-built towers of the world. Gustave-Alexandre Eiffel – the architect of this building also is famed for designing the Statue of Liberty. Eiffel Tower is around 1063 feet tall and was the tallest building in the world for over four decades. Visitors can go up to the third level of this building and enjoy snacks from restaurants apart from enjoying a panoramic view of the city. However, stairs to the third level are usually closed; hence, you can climb up the 2nd story. After this jaunt, you can enjoy cruising on the Seine River.


Thereafter, proceed to an Indian restaurant for dinner and then, head to the hotel for overnight stay.
