1

Arrival in Jaipur

As soon as you reach the Jaipur station/airport, meet your our representative. You will be transferred to the hotel, where you will check-in (time 1200 Hrs) and relax for some time. Afterwards, stay at the hotel and spend the time in leisurely activities or come out to explore the vibrant city of Jaipur.

Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, is home to several majestic palaces and historic monuments. It was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, who was a great warrior and astronomer. The city is a perfect blend of Rajput and Mughal styles of architecture, and attracts tourists from all over the world. It hosts many vibrant cultural festivals, which make it even more attractive for travellers.

In the afternoon, proceed towards the City Palace, which is still the formal residence of the royal family. Also, visit the City Palace Museum, which has a private collection of the kings of Jaipur. Then, make a trip to Jantar Mantar, a stone observatory and the largest of Jai Singh's five remarkable observatories in the country. In the evening, head back towards your hotel for a peaceful sleep.

Sightseeing in Jaipur

After breakfast, drive about 11 kilometres away from Jaipur towards Amber Fort and en route visit Hawa Mahal. Amber was the ancient capital of the Kachwaha dynasty, before Jai Singh founded Jaipur. After reaching Amber, ride an elephant to reach the gates of the fort.

In the afternoon, take a walk through the colourful bazaar (market) of Jaipur In the evening, drive through the new city of Jaipur and visit Laxmi Narayan Mandir – a Hindu temple built in white marble. Later, head back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Jaipur to Jodhpur - Sightseeing in Jodhpur (340 KM/6-7 Hrs)

As soon as you wake up, get ready and move towards the city of Jodhpur. Upon arrival at the Jodhpur check-in and relax for some time. Afterwards, come out of the hotel for an enthralling sightseeing tour of the charming Jodhpur city. Enveloped by a huge fortress wall and vibrant blue buildings, Jodhpur is one of the most important destinations for people visiting the state of Rajasthan. The city is the second largest in the state and is also home to many historic monuments and enchanting geographical features. Bazaars of Jodhpur are vibrant and bustling, and famous for traditional clothes and handicrafts.

You can commence your trip by visiting the Mehrangarh Fort, which was built by Rao Jodha – a ruler of Mandore – in the year 1459.  The fort still maintains its charm and the spirit of the Rathores. It is famous for its magnificent architecture, artefacts and buildings. Situated 400 feet above the level of city, the fort has seven gates of victory, which are dedicated to various conquests.

Later in the evening, move to Balsamand Lake and spend some quality time amidst nature. Balak Rao Parihar built the lake in AD 1159 as a water reservoir. It is a popular picnic spot and sunset point, encircled by hills. At the time of sunset, a leisure walk along the bank of Balsamand lake is a retreat for travellers.

After a tiring day of sightseeing, head back to the hotel for overnight stay

Jodhpur to Udaipur (260 KM/5-6 Hrs)

As soon as you wake up, get ready and leave for the romantic city of Udaipur, which is situated in the western part of the state. In the medieval times, this city was the capital of Mewar, which was ruled by the Rajput rulers. Apart from its glorious historical background, the place is known for its vibrant culture and scenic locales. Udaipur is often referred to as the 'Venice of the East'. On the other hand, few experts have also named it as the 'City of Lakes' because of the presence of some enchanting lakes, which add up to the beauty of it.

On reaching here, check-in at the hotel and relax for some time. You can explore the glorious past and enchanting present of the city. After a day full of excursion, you can now head back to the hotel for overnight stay.

Sightseeing in Udaipur

As soon as you wake up in the morning, freshen up and get ready for a sightseeing tour of the city.

You can commence your sightseeing trip from Lake Pichola, which is an artificial lake built in AD 1362 by the Banjara tribesmen. The lake is home to several small islands, which further add up to its beauty. This picturesque lake of Rajasthan is surrounded by bathing ghats and majestic palaces.

Afterwards, move to see the great and majestic City Palace, which is a complex of palaces in the city of Udaipur. It is built in a flamboyant style, and is famous for the blend of the Rajasthani and Mughal styles of architecture. The design elements of the palace as well as the panoramic view from tits feast to the eyes.

Later, you can move to see the famous Fateh Sagar Lake, which is another artificial lake situated in the heart of the city. It houses some beautiful islands, which have several famous establishments.

After a sightseeing trip of Udaipur, head back towards the hotel for overnight stay.

Udaipur to Ajmer - Sightseeing in Ajmer and Pushkar (270 KM/6-7 Hrs)

As soon as you wake up, get ready and move towards the town of Ajmer/Pushkar. You will get a chance to see Ajmer and Pushkar – the beautiful and religious city.

Ajmer, which is a popular destination in the state of Rajasthan, is home to one of the most important pilgrimages for Muslims. Enveloped amidst lofty ranges of the Aravallis, the place is perfect retreat to the eyes. Narrow lanes and beautifully painted small houses give a unique appearance to the city. The major attraction of this place is the Shrine of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti. Visitors of almost every religion visit it to seek blessings of the late, revered saint.

Later, move to Pushkar – the holy town and a major Hindu pilgrimage. It is home to many beautifully designed and revered temples, where people from all across the world visit to offer their prayers. Apart from its mythological roots, the town is famous for its annual camel fair, frequented by people in large numbers.

The main attraction of Pushkar is the Jagatpita Brahma Temple. It is the most renowned temple of Lord Brahma in the world. Famous for its architecture and antiquity, the temple houses a beautiful idol of Lord Brahma. Spending some time at the nearby Pushkar Lake is also an unforgettable experience for people visiting the place. The pure water of this sacred lake is said to wash away sins and cure various skin ailments.

Later, retire to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Pushkar to Jaipur - Departure from Jaipur (120 KM/2-3 Hrs)

As soon as you wake up, board the designated vehicle and take a leave from the city of Ajmer. You will now proceed towards Jaipur, from where you will depart to the onward destination.
