Arrive in Manali - Evening at LeisureManali – the Queen of Valleys, is a picturesque hill station set amidst forests and mountains. It is located on the Beas River Valley in between the imposing Pir Panjal and Dhauladhar peaks of Himalayas. Dotted with rows of pine trees, beautiful fruit orchids, pleasant weather, numerous old temples and tranquil monasteries, this hill station is frequented by tourists from across the country. Besides, its spiritual and natural marvels, the place is famous for several adventure sports like trekking, river rafting, Jeep safari, skiing, snow boarding and rock climbing. On arrival, check-in at the respective hotel and relax for a while. Spend the evening at leisure. After relishing dinner at the hotel, enjoy a comfortable sleep in your room. |
Day 3 |
Manali - Day at LeisureFollowing your morning meal at the hotel, spend the day in wishful activities. You may visit the captivating Solang Valley and renowned Manali Wildlife Sanctuary. Solang Valley, around 13 km from Manali, is located in between the Beas Kund and Solang village. This serene valley presents stunning views of snow clad mountain peaks and glaciers. Also famed as Snow Point, this valley is popular for skiing, parachuting, hiking, paragliding and zorbing. The Manali Wildlife Sanctuary, established in 1954, is about 2 kilometres from the town centre. It is abode to numerous wild and endangered species of animals, mammals, reptiles and birds. The most commonly found species here are Kashmir flying squirrel, Himalayan black bear, Himalayan Yellow-throated marten, Himalayan palm civet, flying fox and barking deer. Have your dinner at the hotel, before retiring to your room. |
Day 4 |
Manali - Day at LeisurePost breakfast at the hotel, spend the day at leisure. You may visit some of the most popular attractions of Manali like the exquisite Naggar Castle and Hadimba Temple. Start your day by paying homage to goddess Hadimba at the Hadimba Temple. Colloquially known as Dhoongri Temple, this shrine has a 4-storey pagoda style edifice built in the 16th century. Later, you may visit the Naggar Castle located close to Manali in ancient Naggar town. The castle, now a heritage hotel run by Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC), was built in the year 1460 by Raja Sidh Singh of Kullu. After a lip-smacking dinner at the hotel, get a good night's sleep. |
Day 5 |
Depart from ManaliAfter a delicious breakfast at the hotel, spend the rest of the day in leisure activities. You may explore the local bazaars of Manali for various traditional items like Tibetan handicrafts, woollen clothes, Kinnauri and Kullu shawls, prayers wheels, amulets and masks. Later, proceed to Delhi at 1630 hours. |
